Hello hello. Here we are again, another term full of learning fun at Crossmaglen Public School. This term we are learning all about Rainforests (among many other things!). We are also going to explore a variety of ‘Digital Storytelling’ tools. Digital Storytelling is simply using computer-based tools to tell stories. It is combining the art of telling stories with a variety of multi media – including graphics, audio, video and Web publishing.
To start with we used Glogster to present our Rainforest Research. It is a fun and creative way to present information. There is so much scope for experimenting with graphics, colours, images, layouts, design…. I think the students did a fantastic job with their first Glogs. The students could probably all do with a little bit more time to finalize and edit them further and they can next week, but I was excited to show you their progress so far!
