This term, Crossmaglen students have been involved in a new move to learn spelling program on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings with Mrs Morris. We are very appreciative of Pauline’s support and contribution. It is great to see students having fun, learning, retaining knowledge and improving their coordination.
Yesterday in our fortnightly cooking session we made Tortillas The students got to first make the actual tortillas using Corn Masa Mix which is a corn base flour from Mexico, water and a tortilla press. Yesterday Crossie students had the opportunity to join another local small school and engage in a Taiko drumming workshop. Crossie students developed an understanding of rhythm, timing, pitch, following instructors cues and worked cooperatively together. We all had a fantastic afternoon, with lots of fun and laughter.
