On Wednesday 14th of September, 4-6 went to Boambee creek for an excursion to put their mapping skills to work. We saw a stingray and mapped our local area.

This week in K-2, we have been looking at Tessellating shapes. Tessellating shapes are shapes that fit together and have no space. Kindergarten made animals using hexagons, diamonds, squares and triangles. Sophie made a Parrot. Darby made a bird. We all enjoyed this creative experience.

This week we made home made chicken schnitzel with veggies. As the class was undecided on mash potatoes or home made potato wedges, it was decided that both would be made.
