Last Friday for our fortnightly cooking, we made pizza. For our dough we made a basic pizza base using two parts self raising flour one part Greek yoghurt. Last week students in K-2 focused on compound words. As described by Bonnie (Kindergarten), “compound words are two smaller words that are put together to make a bigger word like sun + flower = sunflower”. K- 2 students are enhancing their vocabulary, progressing nicely and achieving various learning goals.
Wrapper Free Wednesday was a hit! All students consumed a variety of fresh produce and home made items which was great to see. Students enjoyed the experience and commented that they would like to do more, so stay tuned.
