Yesterday Crossmaglen students had the pleasure of travelling to Raleigh Public school to join other local schools celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples both past and present.
Students dressed in red, yellow and black to support our local Gumbayngirr community, and had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities such as the baking of Lemon Myrtle Pancakes, Traditional games, artworks and heard some dreamtime stories with Uncle Mark.
We all had a great day and learnt a lot.
