Here are some images from our HSIE project that we were working on this morning. Next Friday Luke and Wakjira from Coffs Harbour Public School are coming to our school to show us some of their excellent building skills (Luke built the ship in the image above). It was great to see everyone on task researching answers to their quest questions and finally deciding on their building projects. Most have their images uploaded and a number of students are working on collaborative builds. Students were creating rough sketches from their ideas and some are already well on the way with their designs. Some of the project builds are: Darlinghurst Goal, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Indigenous housing from 1788 and earlier, horse and cart transport, 1800’s housing and HMS Endeavour.
A very productive lesson. Great work everyone 🙂
